Nature Owl 2016 15 gm 925 Purity By Mongolian

The 2016 Mongolian coin edition shows an extraordinarily piece of minted silver, gilded. Through the use of a modern cutting method, a technically advanced and delicate work of art has been created. The design is simple but amazing and portrays an Owl, a species of eagle-owl that resides in much of Eurasia.

The coin reverse and obverse features an Owl. The powerful Eagle Owl is perched high on a branch, watching a full moon rising in the night sky and perhaps listening to the howling wolf in the distance. On the reverse of the coin, the inscription: "Mongolian Nature 2016". Issued by National Bank of Mongolia, on coin obverse the Mongolia Coat of Arms and the coin value, "500 Togrog".
